Rocking Riders - Wise Bad Man

The Rocking Riders are a Heavy Metal band formed in Contagem, Brazil. In their song "Wise Bad Man", they pay homage to the late Motörhead's bassist and vocalist, the legendary Lemmy Kilmister.

Luciano Roberto, their frontman, came up with a concept of using a spade suit shape with dark and golden tones to visually represent Lemmy, but wanted something else than what was already explored in the famous "Ace of Spades" record cover design.

I decided to make a spade-shaped illustration based on Lemmy's Rickenbacker 4004LK bass carvings, resembling oak leaves and acorns.
