Mostra Mineira de Zines

Mostra Mineira de Zines (portuguese for "Minas Gerais Fanzine Show") took place from July 8th to 10th, 2005, at Matriz — a now unfortunately closed pub and concert venue in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, famous for its support of beginner and alternative bands.

I and a couple of friends were fanzine editors at that time. We made the event in order to promote zines from the whole country. Few people came to see, but nevertheless we had our fun and gained reputation among creatives and the specialized media.

This was maybe my most liked and consistent visual identity made for festivals. I hold it dear to this day.
